- Competitive pay:
- Average $1,500 per week/$78,000 yearly
- Starting pay of $30/hour
- Average 50-60 hours per week, no more than 10 hours per day
- Home daily
- Monday - Friday working 10 hours a day; 4:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. (end time could change due to customer needs and freight volume)
- Work every other Saturday, 5:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (end time could change due to customer needs and freight volume)
- Schedule can change per port request or even rotating schedules
- Drivers will start 30 minutes before port gate times
- Picking up containers at 3 port locations in Charleston, SC and deliver to 2 rail yards in the Charleston area
- Each round trip will be 25.6 miles
- Average 4 turns per day or 8 boxes is expected
- There will be a mixture of full and empty containers delivered and picked up daily
- All drop & hook freight
- Must have Class A CDL and TWIC
- Must obtain Hazmat endorsement in 90 days of coming onboard- driver will be reimbursed

- Must live within a 75-mile radius
- Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have Class A CDL with TWIC

- No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
- No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years

- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
Essential functions:
- Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
- Count freight
- Complete fuel tickets
- Obtain sales leads
- Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
- Perform pre-trip inspections
- Drive
- Regular predictable attendance
- Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
