Dedicated truck drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike our other dedicated accounts, our dedicated flex position offers a good balance of driving for multiple dedicated customers. As a dedicated flex driver, you'll enjoy a steady schedule with variety in your routes each week, as well as a guaranteed minimum pay of $1,400 per week.

As a Dedicated Flex Truck Driver, you can expect:
- Competitive pay:
- Average $1,725 per week; $90,000 per year
- Guaranteed minimum of $1,400 per week if available to work the entire week and training is completed
- Starting pay is .66 cpm
- Miles will fluctuate depending on which account you are working on
- Stop and loading/unloading pay (not all accounts)
- Detention, breakdown, and layover pay when applicable
- Company sponsored per diem program
- Home weekly, drivers who wish to accept two-week assignments, with a 34-hour reset on the road, will receive an additional $200 in per diem
- Drivers must have Class A CDL
- Being adaptable to change and having the desire to work with a wide variety of freight
- Occasionally support other Averitt operations when needed; to ensure you'll always be rolling
- Serve multiple customers, will only work for 1 account at a time (a minimum of 1 week or until the customer's needs are met) then haul another dedicated customer's product

- Must live within 100 miles
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years, including at least 6 months' OTR experience
- Must have Class A CDL
- Must apply for tanker endorsement within 30 days of hire and must obtain tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire- will be reimbursed upon receipt
- No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
- No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
- No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
- No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
Essential functions:
- Load freight - lift requirement: 80 lbs
- Unload freight - lift requirement: 80 lbs
- Move freight - force requirement: 54 lbs
- Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
- Count freight
- Complete fuel tickets
- Obtain sales leads
- Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
- Perform pre-trip inspections
- Drive
- Regular predictable attendance
- Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
