Dock and warehouse associates are the backbone of Averitt facilities. Using digital scanners and other top-notch, modern equipment, dock and warehouse associates manage the day-to-day loading/unloading of freight throughout our system in a safe and professional atmosphere. Due to the familiarity of overall Averitt culture and processes, many dock and warehouse workers become top candidates for operational leadership positions.

**This position requires a Class A CDL**

• Average $1,500 per week / $75,000 per year
• Starting pay: $25.50 per hour
• Overtime: Paid time and a half after 40 hours worked
• Average 50-60 hours per week

• Home daily
• Monday - Saturday
• Start time: 6 a.m.
• Workday is completed once all trailers have been loaded and unloaded

• Primarily operating a forklift (90%) and acting as a fill-in driver as needed when drivers are on vacation, out sick, short runs, etc. (10%)
• Coverage area as fill-in driver: Florida
• Maintain & operate a heavy-duty four-wheel forklift to load, unload, and stage portable storage units
• Assist with taking equipment to and from Averitt shop for repairs
• Adhere to safety & equipment maintenance regulations
• Attention to detail to ensure trailers are loaded correctly
• Work in inclement weather (hot in summer, cold in winter)
• May be required to use computer to access customer website; to print driver paperwork (as needed basis only). Training is provided!

• Sleeper cab, flatbed trailer and 10k forklift
