In 1971, we embarked on a unique journey, fueled by the core belief that people are our driving force. This belief continues to shape our identity, priorities, and success. We believe the Power of One unites us, where each associate’s passion and skill contribute to our ongoing success. And that our shared success is determined by our shared efforts.

Since our beginning, we have united together as a team to achieve and succeed. This October, we have the honor of celebrating our 52nd anniversary as a leader in the transportation industry. We’re proud of our past, but we’re more excited about our future. “Always Averitt” isn’t just a phrase – it’s a legacy. It upholds independence, supports innovation, and links every associate, past, present, and future.

A Legacy of Giving

Our associates have a decades-long history of generosity and giving to those in need. In support of those efforts, our goal is to match our associates’ giving to Averitt Charities in honor of events in their lives and to innovate and grow our match to the team’s community service program.

Our associates have shown their compassion for those in need through the formation of Averitt Cares for Kids. This non-profit is dedicated to improving and saving the lives of children and includes generous support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We could not be prouder of the giving nature of our team.

Driving Success Together

For over 50 years, we’ve seen remarkable achievements and growth due to the hard work and dedication of our associates. Because of that, we have committed to sharing the financial success of the company with our associates through our Profit Sharing plan. This enables us all to see measurable results of our efforts and help secure future retirement. Our Profit Sharing plan inspires associates to focus on innovation, teamwork, and efficiency to deliver increased value for our customers and better profits for our team. And those profits are directly shared with our associates to reinvest in their future.

Each month, 20% of the company profit is invested in Profit Sharing. With full team participation, contributions are deposited into their 401(k) plans to secure a more comfortable future. With no limit to the Profit Sharing amount each month or year, the sky truly is the limit.
