Averitt recognized as Top 10 Military Friendly Employer and Military Spouse Friendly Employer 

For the sixth time, Averitt has been recognized by MilitaryFriendly.com as a Military Friendly Employer. This year, we’ve also been named a Top 10 Military Friendly Employer and a Military Spouse Friendly Employer. These distinctions follow the results of an annual survey conducted by Viqtory, a military marketing company with a mission to connect veterans to civilian opportunities. We’re proud of our longstanding commitment to military service members and their families, and we’re honored to receive this recognition again.

Each year, Viqtory identifies companies committed to recruiting, hiring, and supporting military veterans, their families, and other members of the military community as they transition from active service to the civilian world.

Our team is made up of veterans from every branch of the military. Based on a recent survey, just over 50% of our military veterans served in the Army, followed by the Navy with 16.49%. The third- and fourth-highest number of veterans were in the Marine Corps with 13.95% and the Air Force with 13.53%. We also have veterans from the National Guard (10.36%) and Coast Guard (1.69%). And we’re not done! We aim to add more veterans to our team every year.

In total, about 15% of our associates are military veterans. We know our team is stronger when veterans wear the Averitt uniform, so we cultivate an atmosphere of support and structure for our military associates to have solid, long-term, rewarding careers.
